Not very long ago most people died at home, and care of the deceased was
lovingly performed by family members. Funeral services took place in surroundings
relevant to the deceased and familiar to their family. Funeral directors
were local, trusted and their prices were affordable.
At Rosebud Funeral Service we provide this same approach to funeral care. We are not a large, big business funeral home, nor are we a high-volume cremation “society”. We are dedicated professionals who provide the highest level of personal and caring service at an affordable price.
At Rosebud Funeral Service we can provide full service or simplified burials, and cremations with or without a service. If you are in need of a non-traditional funeral service, we also offer assistance in the details through the services of our funeral director. Because we care about your needs we can create a personalized funeral service according to your exact wishes.

Services of the Funeral
Director
For traditional services or for those who are in need of the less traditional,
such as a home funeral or specific religious ceremony, our director will
work with you to take care of the administrative and legal details of
the process, and help you create a service that’s fully customized
according to your exact wishes and budget.
Our basic services include but are not limited to:
- Response to inquiries 24 hours a day
- Arrangements conference
- Coordination with the cemetery, crematory, officiates and/or location of funeral service
- Preparation and filing of death certificates
- Burial transfer
- Assistance with procuring death benefits
- Placement of obituaries
Our charge for this service is $345. This fee is already included in our burial and cremation options, should you choose one of those routes for the service.
Cremation Options
Cremation provides an option for those who do not wish to have a traditional
burial service. Rosebud Funeral Service offers attention to detail, quality,
and service for those who wish to be cremated.
We are not a high volume, cremation “society”. Each cremation is performed with dignity, care and respect.
- We operate a state of the art crematory that has been placed into service in 2002.
- We adhere to a strict 10 point pre cremation checklist.
- We offer a viewing room for those who wish to be present during the crematory process.
Cremated remains can be placed at a cemetery or scattered according to local laws. Rosebud Funeral Service offers a large selection of urns including earth friendly and biodegradable urns.
Direct Cremation
Our Direct Cremation package includes the Services of the Funeral Director
plus transportation of the deceased within a 40 mile radius, crematory
fees and placing of the remains in a temporary urn. Our charge for the
Direct Cremation is $795.
Additional charges that may apply are transportation that exceeds 40 miles, permanent urn. (See below)
Full Service with Cremation Following
You may choose to have a funeral service with cremation following. For
the funeral service you may purchase a wood casket or use a rental casket
that utilizes an insert. The Full Service option includes all the services
of our Direct Cremation plus use of hearse and our attendance at the funeral
service. We arrive early to help set up the facility, place flowers and
usher: $1,395.
Additional charges that may apply:
Embalming, transportation exceeding 40 miles rental casket or casket,
permanant urn. (See below)
Burial Options
Direct Burial with Graveside Service
Our Direct Burial option includes the Services of the Funeral Director
plus transportation of the deceased within a 40 mile radius, dressing
and our attendance at the cemetery graveside or cemetery chapel:
$1,500.
Additional charges that may apply:
Embalming (see below), Transportation exceeding 40 miles, Use of hearse,
Casket. (see below)
Burial with Service in Church, Synagogue, or Meeting
Room
Includes all services of direct burial plus use of hearse, transportation
to and from place of service. We arrive early to help set up facility,
place flowers and usher: $1,895.
Other Charges:
Forwarding remains to another mortuary
Includes basic services of funeral director, transportation to local funeral
home or Seatac airport, coordination with receiving funeral home: $895.
Other items that may apply and can be added to billing:
Combination shipping container or air tray $200.

Embalming
Except in certain circumstances, embalming is not required by law.

Embalming of infectious or autopsied remains $495.
Cosmetics and hairdressing $75.
Restorative care (billed per hour) $50.
Shelter of remains
Up to 4 days at no charge. After 4 days (per day) $25.
Transportation
Transportation if more than 40 mile radius of our facility (per mile)

Use of hearse and driver $350.
Caskets & Urns
Rosebud Funeral Services offers a complete range of caskets and urns.
